Tomato and Basil Bruschetta

This is a simple appetizer.

8 slices French garlic bread
2 Roma tomatoes, sliced thin
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped fine
16 ounce mozzarella cheese, make 16 thin slices

  1. Preheat oven to 425 dF.
  2. Space bread on cookie sheet.
  3. Set two slices of tomato on each slice of bread.
  4. Set slice of cheese on each slice of tomato.
  5. Sprinkle basil over.
  6. Bake about 4 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Enjoy. Refrigerate leftovers.

Makes 8.
