Baked Asparagus

Baked Asparagus Asparagus is a healthy vegetable nd this bake includes tomatoes which are also healthy.

2 tablespoons butter
1 pound asparagus
2 tablespoons celery, finely chopped
1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
1/2 teaspoon basil leaves
1/2 teaspoons thyme leaves
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

  1. Clean and trim asparagus.
  2. Prepare celery, onion, tomatoes.
  3. In a 9x13 oven safe baking dish, melt butter.
  4. Arrange asparagus in baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle onion and celery over asparagus.
  6. Arrange tomatoes over asparagus.
  7. Sprinkle basil and thyme over asparagus.
  8. Sprinkle cheese over asparagus.
  9. Bake at 350 dF for 30 minutes until asparagus is tender.
  10. Enjoy and refrigerate leftovers.

Serves 4 to 6.
