Lintel Salmon Soup

Lintel Salmon Soup

3 quarts water
1/2 16 oz. package lintels
2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 onion
4 cloves garlic
1 can chicken broth
1 teaspoon Tabasco Sauce (red)
1/4 teaspoon Paprika
1 can salmon
1 teaspoon parsley (optional)

  1. Boil water in 3 quart sauce pan.
  2. Soak lintels in boiling water for 30 minutes.
  3. In a large frying pan or sauce pan, saute onion and garlic in oil until onions are translucent (about 10 minutes).
  4. Add broth and heat through.
  5. Add lintels, Tabasco Sauce, Paprika.
  6. Add salmon and cook 15 minutes.
  7. Serve with sprinkle of parsley and optional red pepper on top.

Serves 4.
